This week, the Nanner took action and placed an ad in the local paper:
WANTED: Chicago Friends I Can Grow Up With
67 mo/old Nanner seeking RV/N.Ctr buddy I can grow up with.
Interests include dogs, balls, and being able to say, "elbow".
Parents who are fanatical about baseball and quality parenting a definite plus.
Other qualities must include a desire to stay in the city long term and brave the CPS,
and ownership of a house that is so far underwater that it makes urban flight impossible.
Qualities that I bring to the table include the greenest, most lush backyard in the entire city. Not that I would know.
